Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Kitsure Dish Drying Rack: Large Stainless Steel Kitchen Rack with Easy Installation, Drainage System, and Silicone Caps for a Non-Slip Counter Experience by Aries Greene

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Why is it so difficult to find a dryer that works well for larger dishes?

I'm not very good with reviews so my apologies if the flow doesn't seem right. I blame the ADHD hamster racing his wheel at top speed in my brain! This is my story and I'm sticking with it! My husband and I picked her from a bunch he researched, but she's smaller than we thought when she turned up. It's solid but could use a slightly larger drainage angle. We added 2 two 3x3 wood corner accents that you would use for decorative edging around windows and/or doors under the back 2 legs as we have about 1" wide molding on our porcelain sinks placed side by side I would say , and when we put it on the counter, the drain rim on the strainer isn't high enough to drain the water into the sink, so we put the front legs on the rim and support the back legs to allow the water to drain properly. Well, almost okay. Some liquid will remain in the center where the drain hole is. There is a curved drain bottle at the bottom to drain the water. The tab can be slid to suit the position of the rack on the worktop, but it doesn't protrude too far and just crosses the rim/rim of the sink. . Even though it's smaller than the old plastic we had, I can still put it up deftly. Those of us who don't have a dishwasher know this skill well lol. I also have a flexible shelf that extends over the edges of another sink. So if I have a lot of pots and pans and it's too many to stack high, I roll them out (since that can be folded up so I have access to them). sink that closes it when not in use). The stand also has an extension on one side to turn drying jar legs upside down. I haven't tried it because I don't drink and if I drink it on rare occasions it won't be wine! On the other side there are 5 handles where you can put glasses, bottles, coffee thermoses, etc. Cutlery for storage. I've never seen/had this feature before and it's a huge plus when you have kids clearing dishes and you're worried they'll cut themselves by accidentally grabbing the knife wrong! The last side has a <removable> hanging shelf to place cutting boards/cookie sheets to dry to save space in the dryer. It is unreliable and accidentally slips off. The easy-to-clean plastic shelf that catches water is easily removed from the metal frame by lifting to pull out. It has a lip so it hooks onto the retractable lip under the cutlery drip (which can also be easily removed for cleaning!) to keep it in place. Much easier to clean than any other dish dryer I've ever had! Overall it's sturdy, just wish they were a size with more drain area to accommodate utensils. I would probably buy it again, certainly if it were a little longer and wider.

Pros
  • MULTI-PURPOSE DISCHARGE SHELF: Additional cutlery drawer, glass shelf and chopping board shelf mounted on the dish rack, meet your various needs. Hang a cutlery tray opposite the cup rack and two more on either side of the dish rack. Keep everything in place while it dries.
Cons
  • So far so good
