I'm 17 years old, my back is fine, I don't need lumbar support. For that reason I expected it to be great considering the lumbar support needs to be "dynamic" and move with you. It certainly made it, but it's so strong that it hurt my back after sitting in it for 30 minutes. Do you know how poorly constructed a chair must be to give a 17 year old who has never had back problems back pain? I sat on wooden dining room chairs. Cheap office chairs. All-plastic deckchairs. Solid wood chairs with a straight backrest. metal school chairs. On the lawn with my back against the stump. And yet I never dealt with back pain until I tried this chair. Their "dynamic" lumbar support is ironically not adjustable. It has a performance setting. This means I was either sitting up straight in my usual position when the lumbar support tried to push me off the chair, or I was slumped forward causing pain in my back from bending my spine forward. Result? Don't sit on this chair before you buy it, see if you can sit in it for an hour or more before you buy it. I felt comfortable trying it out at the dealer. Fast forward two hours after I received it in the mail and for the first time in my life I have back pain while sitting.
