. I bought this to replace a leaking old US Nu-seal stem. Worked great with no leaks. I have followed several online videos and installation tips. It's actually not that difficult and you only need a few tools (screwdriver to remove the handle, crescent wrench for the lock nut, Allen wrench if you're also replacing the inner seat). Note that for a vertical installation with handles (shower handles on the wall, no levers), I've read to use two hot rods (Danco 2K-2H) instead of hot and cold rods. That means they turn in the same direction to turn on and off. Much luck.
