"Kick" the lock to open many pin locks in seconds, but the SmartKey lock design is shockproof. I bought these locks on purpose because they are tamper proof, but the design also makes them difficult to pick (but probably no pin lock is completely tamper proof). They are well made with a steel barrel to prevent drilling. Also, my family members lost their keys several times and I reset the locks just in case. It only takes a minute to recode the locks for each lock and there is no need to remove or swap out the lock. This is a very good feature. In my opinion you can't get a more secure lock for this price. This lock may be more secure than many more expensive lock sets that don't have the SmarkKey feature. And let's get this straight: if a thief REALLY wants to break into your house and can't pick or pick the lock, they can still smash a window, kick a door, or smash the lock with a sledgehammer. .
