Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Enhanced Valterra A10-2618VP 12V FridgeCool Exhaust Fan for Improved Performance by Lancy Rakesh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great set two as backups and pay attention to the thermostat on the fan itself.

The fan works great living in the desert if it can hit 115+ this fan makes all the difference between being able to cool down my RV fridge before a trip and just not being able to in the summer with no fan in my fridge on wheels, the temp only dropped to 55-60 degrees. The fans are not a problem, reaching 30. Since I installed the fan at the top of the cooling coils, I had to remove the fridge vent cover and reseal the whole thing when reinstalling the cover. Because of this I decided to install two fans on top in case one of them eventually fails and I don't have to remove/replace the fan cover again. I wired them both individually to simple single pole switches found at a radio store so I could check if one or both were on. I only need one to chill the fridge. Additionally, you may find that there are two thermostats associated with the fan, one next to the burner that activates at 140 F and an additional thermostat on the fan assembly itself that activates. at 100F ambient temperature. If you install a fan and it doesn't turn on, it could be because the 100F thermostat on the fan itself isn't turning on. Update August 2016 - I originally installed two of these fans, one failed after a year and a half. The second seems to work fine. Due to the complexity of the installation, I'm glad I installed two.
