I have purchased these containers many times and use them every day. As an individual, her size is perfect. Whatever I cook, I make enough for multiple meals and keep the excess in these containers to pop in the freezer. They are great for soups, spaghetti sauce, meat and gravy, leftovers, etc. They are strong and keep their fridge/freezer properties; they are not easy to stain; And they can be washed in the dishwasher. They also thaw easily. I take one out of the freezer and put it in hot water for a while until the contents come out easily. Then transfer to a saucepan on the stove (low heat) until cooked.
