I've used this in the past and had great luck cleaning the print head of my trusty old Epson Stylus Photo 1400. They were really "stuck" and it took me a lot of patience to clean them at least 3 times. This happens when you haven't used the printer for a long time (my Epson 1400 hasn't been used for over 2 years). . Place over a large "pot" to overflow. Don't do this in your living room or your carpet could get messy! Use lots of newspaper and super absorbent towels that come in bulk packs. Use in a well-ventilated area and wear non-absorbent protective gloves. It may take two or three passes (cleanups) before it does its job, but it works. When I was done, the printer was like a new machine. My last cleaning was a lot easier since I use the printer quite a bit these days. It costs money, but check if it will affect your printer's warranty and if it should be used on your printer before buying stuff and cleaning it. Much luck!
