Yes this printhead cleaner works

This fluid in the kit works very well. for my Canon MX922 printer. This liquid and the syringe from the kit unblocked the clogged printhead after pumping and pulling out the liquid several times. I made sure to keep this liquid in the printhead before connecting it to the printer to avoid creating air bubbles in the printhead. Then the print head prints correctly.

Works better than another brand I've used

This thing worked after a few runs through my Epson WF-7520. We use reusable pigment ink cartridges. I used a different cleaning solution and it was pink but it didn't work as well. I actually prefer the Printhead Hospital version because it's easy to understand. It seems to have worked better than another brand I've used. The instructions on YouTube were a bit complicated, but the advice on using a paper towel to soak up the cleaning solution and ink was very good. Highly recommended.

  • Everything is great!

  • Hard to say

Brought my dead printers back to life!

I was able to revive two printers using Printhead Hospital cleaning fluid. Five years ago I packed up my Epson because the black was clogged and no longer usable. I then packed up my HP printer when it started having problems and I was wasting ink trying to clear a clogged printhead. I wanted my current printer to only be good for photos, so I tried cleaning my old printers with alcohol and other cleaning products so I could print everything else with at least one of them. I found a printhead…

No safety data sheet, no list of ingredients on the label.

Twenty dollars gets you about a PINT of this liquid. 500 ml. Half a liter. For some reason I thought it was a liter jar. At least it looked like a gallon jug. The package label doesn't say anything about the ingredients so I took 10ml with a syringe and sniffed it. I smelled AMMONIA. I shook the sample and there was soap scum on it, so I assumed the solution contained a surfactant. The solution was water based. It would be nice if the product came with a list of ingredients and a SAFETY DATA…

I have a Canon Pro-100 inkjet printer that I haven't used in about a year. After cleaning the heads with the Canon printer maintenance software 2, the print heads would not open. Checked the internet and found this to be the top rated product. I filled a small tub with about 1/2-1/2 inch of product and let it sit overnight. The liquid filled with ink so I did it again. Filled with ink color again. Drain again and fill the tub with distilled water and let it sit, did this twice. Last bath again…

It works out. with care and patience!

I've used this in the past and had great luck cleaning the print head of my trusty old Epson Stylus Photo 1400. They were really "stuck" and it took me a lot of patience to clean them at least 3 times. This happens when you haven't used the printer for a long time (my Epson 1400 hasn't been used for over 2 years). . Place over a large "pot" to overflow. Don't do this in your living room or your carpet could get messy! Use lots of newspaper and super absorbent towels that come in bulk packs. Use

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
