Review on HICTOP 2X Alu GT2 20T Pulley Set + 2M Belt For Prusa I3 3D Printer by Carl Watkins

I recently purchased the HICTOP 2X Alu GT2 20T Pulley Set + 2M Belt for my Prusa I3 3D Printer. The set contained two aluminum pulleys and a matching belt, and overall, my experience with this product has been mixed. First, I have to say that the build quality of the pulleys is top-notch. The aluminum construction feels durable and of high quality. Installation was fairly easy, and the pulleys fit nicely on my printer. The included belt was also top quality and seemed to run smoothly without any issues. However, while the pulleys do their job well, there are a few drawbacks that I have to note. The first issue is with the design of the pulleys. While they are well-made, they are slightly larger than the original pulleys that came with my printer. This caused some minor alignment issues, which took some time to correct. The second issue is with the belt. While the belt itself is high quality, it was a bit too long for my printer. I had to trim it down to size, which was a bit of a hassle. Overall, the HICTOP 2X Alu GT2 20T Pulley Set + 2M Belt is a decent set for the price. The aluminum pulleys are of high quality, and the included belt is smooth and runs well. However, the larger size of the pulleys and the need to trim the belt down to size were minor issues that made installation a bit more difficult.
