My bathtub has one of those drains that require a screwdriver to open. And while some reviews claim you can empty the drain without removing it, unscrewing the cap didn't work for me. The product worked as it should and pulled out large chunks of dirt. Because the plastic snake has "teeth," trying to clean it is very difficult. Even if you're wiping in the direction of your teeth, you'll need gloves and something thicker than a paper towel to remove the dirt. Luckily there were 4 in the set so I just threw mine away when I was done with the tub. It's amazing how something so small can make such a difference. The product is solid and stays on even when I keep pushing and pulling it back. I definitely recommend this for a bathtub, sink or shower with a slow drain.
