April 24 update. I've used this on wrapped and flat canvases now and they work really well with them too. I cut the words into "custom stencils" so I just taped them to the canvas with painters tape, it holds them in place, and then while the paint is still wet I carefully peel off the tape and stencil, and Here we go. wash them off. I've bought more from this company and they are all made from the same flexible material and give good results whether I've used acrylic, glitter or 3D paints. I loved them from the moment I saw them online and they had a very specific purpose. . I love tattoos but I don't want to go under the needle. I love positive and uplifting statements and I love having them on my hands, palms, wrists and feet to remind me at all times what I stand for and it's working (for me). So I bought them as stencils to use for color and glitter temporary tattoos on my body. Flexible enough to contour around a wrist or hand, it takes a little creativity and effort to make them work perfectly. I have used them on the sides of the foot in the arches and they have given decent results, still need to practice. They aren't designed for that, so I had to find a way to make the stencil stick to my body while I was applying paint/glitter or henna. I used a glue stick on the back and it stuck to my skin then I used a wet towel to remove the glue the ones I have are water based. I would do an allergy test first as the glue stick is made for paper not leather. I will post an update once I use them on anything other than leather. I plan to make mini canvases so we'll see.
