I spend more time putting it back together and digging one or both pieces out from under the car seat than I do wearing it! Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but my friend has the same problem. 8 times out of 10 when you slide the belt up or down to put it on or take it off it breaks in 2 pieces. Yes, it's easy to put it back on AFTER you find the parts. I prefer the old style which was one piece and clip on. It stayed and slid up and down, simply releasing the tension with a flip clip. They are very hard to find and the price has tripled compared to last year. This model is now in the trash and I have ordered three of the old model in case they are discontinued.
