I do not recommend this product.

I chose this product because it was advertised as having a 22 MP sensor. But that's not the case. It has a 14 MP sensor. It makes 22 MP with software interpolation. It is very difficult to use. The product comes with different plastic sliders for different types of foil. They're cheesy. To scan a slide or negative you need to place it in the right place on the slider. But the slider doesn't stop it at this point. When inserted into the scanner, the negative or slide moves. It usually takes two or three attempts to very gently slide the slider into the scanner to get the negative or slide properly centered. The controls are also difficult to use. It has four buttons that correspond to different functions on the screen. The slide I was trying to scan had an ugly green cast. There is a color matching feature that can be used to solve this problem. But after I used it, the record button stopped working. I finally managed to capture the image after more or less random button presses.

Pros
  • Digitized photo quality up to 22 megapixels, compatible with Mac and PC, transfer of high-resolution images to computer, laptop, smartphone and tablet.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
