I used a base set of ball joints (not bought from Revain, bought mine from Napa) and used these particular adapters 3 times at work this week. They are suitable for the lower parts (the upper parts are screwed on as a replacement). The detachable cup bends and breaks the edges where the neckline begins. It doesn't work well with welded arms. On the 2000-3500 (square body) the cast arms are slightly better. After 3 uses, the removal cup wears out. I bought my kit through Napa and they claim they guarantee the parts if they become unusable so I benefit if you remember to guarantee them after use rather than waiting for them to come back to you like I usually do . A little trick to take the bottoms off, give them 3 good hits with a sledgehammer. The head of the ball joint sticks out so far that unless you're blind you'll only hit the top of the ball joint. This will help break the ball joint so you don't get the 150psi max pressure through half of the air gun trying to rip it out initially (the 97 I made today seemed to have a bushing retainer or some sort of Loctite to have the splines, and it took about 30 good strokes to get it moving)
