Bracket looks good. Works as it's supposed to, BUT it's not designed to connect. Essentially, you have to plug it into an outlet or into a nearby light fixture. That would be bad enough, but it gets worse. The box has plenty of 'knock out' holes for passing house wiring through the wall of the light and comes with a conduit connector. But knockouts are fake! With fake little welds to trick the eye. You are very likely to deform and damage the fine-pitch bracket when you try to pull it out. They can even damage the delicate tools you're likely to use in your battle. After all, the drill is the only working tool. However, this leaves a gross hole that is difficult to remove from the inside. Oddly enough, the light includes all the other features you need for a proper installation. How Much Could You Save With Fake Knockouts? The whole situation makes me very doubtful about the UL certification and therefore about the safety of the object. It also makes me angry about the price. I paid for not wasting my time and for the product to be certified safe. This is not what I received.
