I have a lot of respect for the makers of this case. It's incredibly durable and just saved my new I Phone 8 plus from certain death this afternoon. I rode my motorcycle and the phone was attached to my bracelet for easy access when needed. I'm deducting a star because the phone slipped out of the locked position without my knowledge and I noticed it at the last second. I went to grab him and he fell. from my hand. while I ride my motorcycle. at a speed of 70 miles per hour. and fell onto the sidewalk, hitting the curb with the phone down. My heart sank. I was sure my brand new phone was fried. I turned around, parked my bike and slowly lifted it off the ground, already knowing it was dead and deep, and lo and behold, my phone was completely intact with no scratches or damage. I'm excited. I still wonder how hitting the pavement at 70mph while bouncing my phone on concrete left my phone completely unscathed. There are barely a few dents and scratches on the case, one corner is torn, but that's about it. I would not recommend a bandage. It doesn't lock well enough to protect the phone from anything other than light activity around the house. I probably wouldn't even trust it to go around, but it does. This case is God.
