Perfect for our old Moen. You may need some stands to find the screw holes on the adapter in the wall, at least if you've previously had a deeply concave rosette like ours. The item we received has snowflake and light gray pointed sun. Once a few water stains hit the slab, you won't see them at all. It's fine, but you may need to tell guests which way to turn the knob so they don't freeze and burn themselves if they don't experiment. I think a red dot and a blue dot would be more practical, but I don't think practicality is more important than "style" these days.
