Hitop 50w Adjustable Aquarium Immersion Heater. This heater is quite difficult to adjust to the desired temperature. I use this heater for my new quarantine tank which I keep at 78°. I had to experiment with this dial until I found a position where 76° turned just a little red to bring the actual temperature to 78°. I usually connect my heaters to an InkBird temperature controller for double protection against overheating. But when I finally found the right dial setting for this HiTop heater, it was very stable around 2°, mostly on the cold side of 78°. I have an actual thermometer on the tank to keep an eye on. It's fully submersible (mine is fully submersible). I tested it on a GFCI outlet for two days before using it and mine doesn't have any current flowing into the water. In my main tanks, all electrical equipment that comes into contact with water is hardwired to the GFCI cable, but I didn't do that in my quarantine setup.
