I liked this item because it is very nice. But over time I have problems with this item. The problem is that the MacBook Pro is so thin and fragile that you really need to protect it unless you're handling it with kid gloves. After owning Mac products for decades. I have never cracked a screen on a computer. I have one now and I've never taken it out of my house. This cover is very pretty, but the edges are so thin that the cover cracked after moving the computer around the house. I'm not sure if the keyboard's rubber grip caught the edge when closing it, causing a crack in the screen. It's probably a Mac design (RIP STEVE JOBS), but this one-size-fits-all has all sorts of edge protection. The top remains scratch-free, but the edges are really vulnerable.
