I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I bought a Continental IceContact 3 in the dimension 205*55*R16 (metal spike) instead of the Viatti Brina Nordico V522 (the tires are not bad, but sometimes it has serious problems with braking on ice, dry/wet pavement) in the same dimension, a car Toyota Avensis T250 2022 onwards. Now about the pros and cons of Continental IceContact 3: + Excellent acceleration and good predictable braking on dry, wet, icy, snowy pavement + very confident and predictable follows the wheel and enters turns…

Pros
  • Ride, acceleration, braking, directional stability on the track, well "lays" in turns.
Cons
  • All the same, I expected that it would be less noisy (read the details below in the comments)

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

The toad shot himself the day I bought these tires :) In general, on 10/22/2022 I purchased tires Continental Ice Contact 3 (Flex Stud) 235/50 R18. Welded in Germany (see photo). Managed to ride on wet and dry asphalt. I also had a chance to ride on snow porridge in small quantities (St. Petersburg, 10/28/2022). Previously, winter tires were Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5. Summer tires this summer are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5. I will compare them with them. The very first impression - I got a…

Pros
  • I will not write anything here, but just describe my impressions in the comments.
Cons
  • Frank deficiencies in a short period of use have not been identified. What will happen next - time will tell.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Fairly quiet tires, it is comfortable to ride on the highway. Before that, there were Nokian Hakkapellitta 7 and 7 SUVs, they got a maximum of 1-2 spikes from each wheel in 4 winter seasons! At the beginning of November 2022 (before, everything somehow had no time) handed over this pair of wheels for examination to the branch of the company "Wheels for nothing" (the official representative of Continental in our region) in my city so that they could send them to the claims department due to a…

Pros
  • In September 2022, wonderful, as I thought at the time, absolutely new Continental 215/65/R16 tires were bought, ordinary metal spikes. The road is well-kept, both on asphalt and on snow. I did not experience any problems when starting, driving and braking on ice, the approximate mileage for the winter season was 4,000 km.
Cons
  • Departure on these wheels only 1 winter! More than 50% of the spikes fell out on the drive wheels, and this is taking into account that I ran in these tires for at least 700 km, if not more. At the same time, the tires from the rear axle are like new (the car has front-wheel drive). The most unpleasant thing is that the guarantee for the loss of spikes turns out to be valid only for the first two months.

I bought tires in the amount of 215/65/16 for a Ford s-max in December 2022. dashed off for this winter 8 thousand km. rubber showed itself only on the positive side. braking is always predictable, handling is good, tires are very quiet. passed the test both on the highway and in the city (Hong Kong). most importantly, not a single spike on any wheel flew out. 20 year tires.

Pros
  • tires are quiet. comfortable. tenacious.
Cons
  • did not notice.

I'm disappointed with my purchase, products are no good.

This is the first time I've encountered such low quality tires. The most offensive, it was the most expensive and advertised wheels in the city at the time of purchase. I thought I was paying for quality, but it turned out I didn’t understand why. I contacted the Continental hotline and did not receive any clear answer. They say "it's your own fault . learn to ride." I strongly DO NOT recommend these tires for purchase.

Pros
  • Very quiet.
Cons
  • Acquired in November 2022. In one winter and 4 months of operation (about 5000 km), half of the spikes remained on the front drive axle. My car is an ordinary small car, driving style is calm. Usually, I roll out at least 4 winters on normal spikes, then I sell them for ebay for half the price.

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

Initially, I chose quiet tires of a famous brand, because I drive a lot on the highway . I read reviews and the choice was between Michelin and Conti, before that, the first contiayscontact suited everyone on the previous car, so I took Conti again . auto Skoda Octavia a7 1.8 rolled tires as the manufacturer advises, but it did not help . two seasons half of the spikes are gone . from 60-90 rumble on clean asphalt . the previous one seems to have been quieter . German-made tires!

Pros
  • I did not notice any advantages . ordinary rubber .
Cons
  • -during two seasons, 50% of the spikes fell out (mileage 10,000) - noisy (purely my opinion, I expected more acoustic comfort from it)

It's not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

Continental IceContact 3, made in Germany, size 225 45 R17. Spike FlexStud. In operation since November 1, Hong Kong region + went on vacation to Hong Kong. Car Volkswagen Golf 7 1.4 TSI. In mid-January (about 4000 miles) I inspected the tires and found that a lot of spikes had come off. It felt like dropping the new iPhone 11 Pro on the concrete floor. I wrote to the seller, he offered to stud with ordinary spikes or take the tires for examination for 20 days, warning that they would most…

Pros
  • Comfortable, tenacious, not noisy, predictable, well controlled.
Cons
  • The spikes began to leave the tires prematurely.

Not a bad product, but you can find better.

I am an absolutely calm driver, I move smoothly, I do not brake sharply. In the photo, the condition of the tires after 15 thousand kilometers. 1000km run-in was carried out, the operating mode is gentle. For this money, it is preferable to choose another brand. I regretted buying, tires for 2 seasons.

Pros
  • The tire is really tenacious and holds the winter snowy road well.
Cons
  • Flew 50% of all spikes on the drive axle.

The noise is really less than that of Nokian 4,5,7. slight rumble after 80 km / h. handling by 8 points in all conditions: snow, slush, slush, ice, rolling, snowdrift. for a winter tire, it fulfills its functions, but . THE QUALITY OF THE STUDS AND THEIR FASTENING - I HAVE NOT SEEN WORSE.

Pros
  • Compared to Nokian, handling and braking are better when driving on the highway up to 140km/h, quieter
Cons
  • loss of studs on the drive wheels 50.60% with a highway run of 10,000 km.

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Have you seen how children rejoice at the first snow? So I got this feeling when I changed my shoes in these tires. An insatiable desire to try these tires wherever a sedan can go. I remember how on ice on the highway I drove around a traffic jam of 8-10 cars that were moving at a speed of 30-40 km / h, and a proud feeling that between the body and the road there are premium, top-end tires that give full control over driving. It feels like I'm not driving on a winter road, but on asphalt in the

Pros
  • Handling on all surfaces, acceleration / deceleration, quiet, durable
Cons
  • The so-called "Moose test" on dry pavement, at a temperature of about +10, a long handling response, as if on a gravel surface.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

in 2022, a set of 205/65 R15 99T XL of the current year of manufacture, produced in 2022, Hong Kong, Continental AG, was purchased. for two winter seasons, the mileage is more than 20 thousand km, the spikes are all in place, the tread is like new. grip on icy pavement is excellent, slip starts smoothly and predictably. there is a nuance in the behavior on the pavement at temperatures above 0, there are pulls when changing lanes and yaws in a rut. compared to the previous Gislaved NF 100 are…

Pros
  • quality, predictable behavior on all types of coverage
Cons
  • relatively noisy, don't like warm temperatures

For 1 season, enough snowy winters, 30% of the spikes on the drive wheels fell out, on the rear, almost all are intact. And this is in conditions of almost ideal operation. I carefully ran around, carefully drove, but in the end I was still left without a bunch of spikes. Absolutely without grinding on asphalt, of course, it could not have done, there is no getting away from this, but I tried to minimize it. As a result, I regret that I did not take Michelin or Hakkapelita.

Cons
  • The spikes on the driving wheels fall out.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Good afternoon. I want to share my opinion about the tire Conti IceContact3 195/65R15. Prior to that, he operated Pirelli Ice Zero 195/65R15. The tire behaves remarkably in corners at high speeds, stable and predictable (Subaru Legacy B4). Very quiet. According to the sellers, it has a vulcanized spike, which should have a positive effect on its resistance to pulling out. It showed itself well in the snowfall in our city, and saved one innocent soul in the form of a dog that jumped out in a…

Pros
  • Comfortable, Handling, Quiet,
Cons
  • No. Price.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

There is absolutely no product, do not buy it.

I'll just leave this here: ". Due to problems with keeping the studs in the tread, the manufacturer is stopping the production of tires withrubber studs. Which, in principle, is logical, given that such tires will already be difficult to find on the market. "

Cons
  • - spikes fly out

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The worst purchase in my life, dont repeat my mistake

I did not expect such a loss of studs from tires at this price. Size 185/65 r15 ran one season, losing studs on one 27 on the other wheel 24 both leading. On the rear axle all the spikes are in place

Pros
  • Good handling
Cons
  • Loss of spikes in the first season, price

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Skoda Octavia A7. I only just put it there, but I have already tested it on ice, and they are good at holding it (ice that forms after rain). There is no snow on the ground as of yet. As for the studded, it's not too loud. Very comfortable, and the unevenness of the asphalt has been effectively worked out.

Pros
  • A good hold on the ice. convenience in terms of sound. You'll have to smooth out the bumps in the road's surface, all right.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Normal product, but wanted more for the money.

The noise is actually much less than that of the Nokian 4,5,7. after 80 kilometers per hour, there is a tiny rumbling. handling had an average score of 8 points across all circumstances, including snow, slush, slush, ice, rolling, and snowdrift. However, it does not meet all of the requirements for a winter tire. I have not encountered anything that compares to the quality of the studs and the fastening on them.

Pros
  • When driving on the highway up to 90 miles per hour (140 kilometers per hour), the handling and braking are superior to those of the Nokian, and it is quieter.
Cons
  • After driving 10,000 kilometers on the highway, 50.60 percent of the drive wheel studs were gone.

The perfect product for any user!

Skoda Octavia A7. I only just put it there, but I have already tested it on ice, and they are good at holding it (ice that forms after rain). There is no snow on the ground as of yet. As for studded fairly quiet. Very comfortable, and the unevenness of the asphalt has been effectively worked out.

Pros
  • A good hold on the ice. convenience in terms of sound. Find a solution to the unevenness of the road surface, please.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Skoda Octavia A7. I put it recently, but I already managed to test it on ice - they hold it well (icing after rain). There hasn't been snow yet. As for studded pretty quiet. Comfortable, well work out the unevenness of the asphalt.

Pros
  • Good grip on ice. acoustic comfort. Well work out the unevenness of the road surface.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet.
