Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Have a nice afternoon. It is important to me that you hear my thoughts regarding the tire model Conti IceContact3 195/65R15. Before that, he used tires with the model number Pirelli Ice Zero 195/65R15. When cornering at high speeds, the tire has remarkable behavior; it is stable and predictable (Subaru Legacy B4). Very quiet. It is said to contain a vulcanized spike, which should have a beneficial effect on its resistance to pulling out, as stated by the people selling it. It performed…

Pros
  • Comfortable, Handling, Quiet,
Cons
  • Not at all, Cost.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Hello everyone! I left the season (10-11 t. Km) on this rubber, I was satisfied. Gislaved100, but it was discontinued last year). It was not possible to check the behavior in the snow, it was not there. To be honest, this aspect is of the least interest because 95% of the mileage on the highway. But I liked the behavior on ice and on the asphalt track. When I bought there were no reviews. Now I read several negative reviews about the loss of studs. I can only assume that the vaunted rubberized…

Pros
  • Track on asphalt, handling and braking on ice.
Cons
  • Price.

Continental IceContact 3 tires, sized 225/45 R17 and manufactured in Germany. Spike FlexStud. Since the 1st of November being put into action, the Hong Kong region + went on holiday to Hong Kong. Car Volkswagen Golf 7 1.4 TSI. Midway through January, which is approximately 4000 miles, I inspected the tires and discovered that a significant number of the spikes had fallen off. It was like accidentally setting the brand new iPhone 11 Pro down on the hard floor. I contacted to the vendor, and he…

Pros
  • Comfortable, tenacious, not noisy, predictable, and well managed are desirable qualities in a control system.
Cons
  • The spikes started coming loose from the tires earlier than expected.

The product is average, Im not sure its worth the money.

I switched to these tires with IceContact 2. The 2nd generation was just a huge step up for me in terms of road behavior on ice and snow compared to the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8. Handling on ice was like driving on dirt, not on ice. However, I had to say goodbye to the spikes pretty quickly. I had to tweak. IceContact 3 was a step back or even two steps back in terms of handling on ice compared to IceContact 2. There is almost no side-slip grip in corners - the car carries. On straight lines…

Pros
  • The spikes don't fly out.
Cons
  • The side grip is bad.

I skated on IceContact 2 for three seasons (Toyota Camry), visually all the spikes are in place. Last summer I bought a new car (Hyundai Santa Fe) and there was no question of rubber, because. I was very pleased with the brand. I decided to try to buy the third version (IceContact 3), made in Germany. I changed my shoes on October 5th and rode until April 18th. Dashed around 7000 km. Yesterday I changed my shoes and shuddered. ;). Loss somewhere between 20% -30% of the spikes on the front…

Pros
  • Controllability
Cons
  • During the season, the loss of 20% -30% of the spikes on the drive wheels

Unsatisfactory, upset with this product.

Was very happy with the purchase! An absolutely new model, an innovative spike, one of the leading leaders in the production of winter tires, I really wanted to test it in action!). and an extremely careful driving style without sharp accelerations and braking), minus 10% of the spikes! . braking on dry roads and on ice is at a height! What is the result - mileage 4000, I change shoes at a tire fitting shop, I calculated the loss of studs, minus 130 pieces on the leading front ones! Tire…

Pros
  • Holds well on ice and deep snow
Cons
  • Stud losses greater than 15% in one season

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

I'm on my third generation now. R16. During the season, the spikes did not fade. No one. True, the ride is not aggressive, but still. On country roads, the car behaves very confidently. Braking is superb. On the asphalt and the track, too, everything is fine. In general, for me, the Germans do not spoil anything, chic winter tires! Don't skimp on tires! A friend bought tires for 6K from another brand, and his super-driven car in the summer on average winter wheels turned into a cart)

Pros
  • German brand quality, excellent performance on snow and ice.
Cons
  • Peak season price. It is necessary to monitor and buy in the off-season, so as not to overpay fiercely.

Disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!

19th radius, bought for 55 I don't know who writes reviews here. after the season of operation, 50-70% of the spikes are missing on the drive wheels. despite the fact that I have a hyundai family SUV, I drive calmly. in the photo you can see what is left of the rubber after 5000 km. to be honest, this was not even on the cheapest rubber. like it says made in germany. but it shouldn't be. I hope I don't have to sue them for a refund.

Pros
  • low noise
Cons
  • poor quality, all spikes fell out after 5000 km.

Having bought tires, a "break-in" was made as the manufacturer advises. Unfortunately, after the first winter, a bunch of spikes fell out (of course, the winter was warm and there was little snow, but still, this is not normal.) No sharp accelerations, slippage. Sadly. I'll do it for a couple more seasons, and then probably change. Would I buy a Continental now? Definitely not.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Has pros: The rubber is soft and holds the road well. Not noisy, in general, I liked it, I haven’t traveled through snow and ice yet. Has some cons: The price is a little expensive, but for good tires it's not a pity.
