Boots need to be heavily modified to work/fit tightly. The trunk that connects to the intercooler had to be cut 10mm to fit the inner groove. The connection end to the rigid elbow must be removed by 50 mm. The position of the sensor has been changed by VW oem. Now it touches my intercooler coolant port and the other side touches my power steering reservoir port. The trunk itself is shaped like an OEM twist, which is what causes these problems. Didn't try to go back because I changed the side of the intercooler before noticing the remaining issues. The sensor's "lock" on the rigid tube is misaligned and must be cut to actually lock the sensor. The hole also had to be deburred as it ruptured the sensor O-ring.
