A word of advice for anyone buying this monitor: when you first connect it to your computer, you will notice that the screen (especially scrolling text) becomes quite washed out and colors can appear blotchy. I thought the monitor was faulty when I saw it, but after doing some homework I found that the problem was caused by a faulty "overdrive" feature (or maybe not faulty? Still have that feature never seen). The "Overdrive" slider is located under "System" and is set to "Medium" by default. Turn off. Then the blurry screen problem goes away and after that the monitor is great. (While I can't speak to the durability of this particular product, overall I've had great experiences with Scepter monitors, all of which (I've had 4, including this one) have been very durable over the 3-4 years of use were.. At least they're worth it, in my opinion.. doesn't seem to work quite right.. One particular problem that surfaced immediately was that the "Overdrive" feature didn't work properly: when you connected it to your connect computer, you will notice that objects on the monitor become blurry momentarily when scrolling. After some searching, I found out that this is due to the overdrive function, which should speed up the response time.Except in this case it only renders objects blurry when they move when you scroll your mouse Overdrive is factory set to 'medium' You'll want to turn it off first, after that you should to be peace
