Couldn't find a more accurate thermometer for the price
Accurate to within 0.1°C thermometers typically cost hundreds of dollars. I was quite skeptical that this device could reach the claimed 0.5°C, but I recently compared it to a high-end thermometer calibrated to 0.1°C and it consistently showed the same temperature as the fancy device. That's pretty amazing for a thermometer that costs less than $25. People deducting stars because of price or build quality don't know what they're talking about. This is an amazing thermometer for what it's worth. Just be careful with liquids, electronics are not waterproof. Only dip the measuring probe, otherwise buy a new one.
