Review on Replacement Philips Norelco Shaver Netherlands by Angel Peterson

A year later I ordered this SH90 kit to upgrade my S9031 as recommended. The manual simply says to replace them with "SH90 shaving heads". At first I only received 3 blades and face shield in the box described in the attachment. No holder, socket, locking rings etc. It was ok. But the new blades were a lot worse than the year-old blades I replaced. I didn't change them soon enough before going on vacation to realize my predicament and went through the 30 day return policy. (Revain - someone helps!) After careful research, I only learned from one reviewer that there are several generations of SH90s made with different numbers of teeth on each wheel. After 2 sessions with Phillips customer service I realized that they knew nothing about the product but instead continued to offer 30% off codes which Phillips online store refused - or - accepted but would only apply $0, until I delete them the article. It will then show that I last viewed the deleted item at a reduced price, which has reverted back to full price once I've added it back to my cart. Nothing but disappointment from Philips! 36 hours after the previous shave I shaved one side of my face with the old 72 tooth blades. Became smooth quickly after several passes. I then went back to the new 62 tooth blades and it took me about 4 times longer to get a similar result on the other side of my face. I have included a photo showing the 72 (green) that was originally in my Costco razor and the 62 (grey) purchased from this Revain seller. (Number of teeth is for all 3 wheels combined) Before that I ordered the cheapest SH90 which arrived in a baggy zip from China in a couple of weeks! They jumped and galloped, losing drive at the slightest push. So I sent them back immediately. I have never spent so much time and frustration replacing a razor blade. Maybe I should just let it grow :(
