I'm always outside, no matter what the weather. This summer was unusually hot. I bought it to see if it helps. To be honest I figured I'd get it back in the end. To my surprise. It worked very well. Much better than I expected. The only drawback is the air conditioning. This is a metal strip along the back that sits on the nape of the neck. Make sure you wear a shirt if using one. Otherwise it gets very cold in one place.
