Review on 💻 Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB) - Platinum: High Performance Computing at Your Fingertips by Peris Holland

I bought this laptop for a variety of tasks including writing blog posts and doing some design work in Illustrator and Photoshop. The keyboard is pleasant to type on, with a pleasant noise level and a pleasant stroke. I love the feel of the Alcantara fabric. This makes me worry my hands are clean as I'm not sure how well he'll hold up when I'm hard on him. The Surface's square screen sizes give you a lot more screen real estate, but if you notice motion blur on your monitors, beware, the panel in this one seems to have some kind of slow response. The trackpad is solid, the touchscreen is solid too, and the speakers sound good. Fan noise is almost non-existent unless you load the machine, which if harsh enough can sound like a jet plane. I wish the charger was a block against the wall as you'll find with the Apple or Lenovo devices I've owned before that the part between the wall and the power adapter needs to be longer because it's not long enough is. All around a great car, almost perfect but an absolute buy.
