I bought this because I needed a glitter background for filming. I already have a fabric with glitter dots but I was afraid it would be too shiny and cause problems with my camera focusing. (I don't have a great camera.) I've looked at such sequin things at local fabric stores and they're expensive, about $20 a yard! This fabric is comparable to what I've found at local fabric stores and only costs about $10 per yard. And yes, 4'x6' is basically two yards. The advantage of this background is that the edges are processed, and quite wide pockets for cornices are already sewn on at each end. When you take it out of the box for the first time, it will fall out a little, so be careful. It's not like it loses a lot of glitter when you take it out of the box, but there are a few little white fibers that fall off the fabric when you unwrap it. No big deal, just be ready to suck. I don't know how well it holds up in the wash, but it hardly creases out of the box. Otherwise he's great. Glitter is a matte finish that catches the light well without being overly shiny. (It's weird that you don't want the glitter to be too shiny...) If you're looking for a cheap glitter background for your photos or videos, buy this one. It's worth it!
