I have always worn a size small in hats but they don't offer just a size small but it looked so cute and quite different than other bucket hats I had to see if a sm/med would work. However I can't even really tell if I like it or not as it covers part of my face.It is 100% cotton but I always wash my baseball hats in the dishwasher so that they don't lose their shape. I am leary of trying to put it in the dryer. But I may try it since it's a floppy hat so imperfections would be hard to spot.
