While I prefer slimmer racing cameras (they aren't as light), these cameras are great for commuting. I've been riding them 7+ miles a day since April and haven't had a single flat tire. I live on a college campus in Michigan, so whenever I manage to dodge broken glass, I usually find my bike hitting a pothole. I cut a lot of tubing before I started buying these. I have a few spare tubes in stock but I don't think I'll ever need them - they really are great quality! Update: Nov 2013 I originally bought three tubes so I have a spare. I've never used a third tube before because I've never had a flat one. This is great because cycling is my primary mode of transportation and I need a durable and reliable commuter bike! These whistles are amazing. I offer them to every passenger I meet. Update: December 2017 I gave a friend a spare phone. I've had the original spike tubes on my commuter bike for 4.5 years without flats. Wow.
