Great product - just what I needed to fit the baby gate in the room. The gate is between the wall and the railing of the stairs. The bottom of the railing protrudes further than the top, plus a large plinth at the bottom of the wall. So the gate approached the lower part, but still had a large gap in the wide upper part. I used small supports for the bottom part and used both pieces, small flat supports along with extensions for the top part. The gate now fits the space and is still very strong - holding up perfectly when two of my kids grab it. I love how you can customize it any way you want as each one is actually 2 parts!
