Review on ☕ Chemex Natural Square Coffee Filters - Pack of 200 - 2 Pack by Roberto Smith

The real Chemex innovation are the filters.

A filter overview is almost an overview of the Chemex in general, so let's not just focus on the filter but talk about the Chemex in general and what the filter does. Also, full disclaimer on this review, I've bought 200 filters in the past, bought 2 packs of 100 individually at different times, I've bought them when I had few but I've brewed NONE with this set of 200 the same , and I'm sure it will work the same. So you understand, I'm only looking at the last 200, not the next ones. When that's done, let's move on to verification. Chemex and its filters are excellent tools for making good coffee. Will it brew good coffee itself? No, but it will certainly improve the taste of good coffee that you brew, grind properly with the right tools, and brew with good technique. Is the coffee usually strong? Yes, but compared to a French press with a metal filter, it's not as thick and cloudy in flavor (not bad, just don't hear the base notes). Chemex gives a very balanced cup with high clarity and all thanks to this filter. The filter is double and I won't lie, it looks like cheap tissue paper but looks can be deceiving. The other is 1. You place the 3-ply side on the spout side of the chemex to prevent air pockets so your coffee is brewed properly. Squares are actually really good, they give you something to grab when you're ready to throw it away. I really appreciate it and it looks great with it. Now you can say that filters are quite expensive. They spend $0.10 on each filter only carafe you make, but the quality of this coffee carafe is excellent, so I never regret using a filter for just one cup of coffee. I will say the coffee time is a bit long but that is how Chemex brews and I would not recommend adjusting the grind setting to change this. Chemex only takes a little longer than V60 but I find the results are better for me. Overall I think this is a brilliant way to brew coffee and I love that I can wake up to a wonderful Chemex full of coffee.
