Review on Razor 13013240 Scooter Maximum Weight by Micha Mitrut ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

In general, I like the fact of riding a scooter. Even with all the minuses, I don’t want to sell it :) I’ll think about depreciation for the next season. A scooter with a foot drive is a little physical education, maneuverability, lightness and time saving, walking already infuriates). But it is necessary to take into account the surface on which to ride. This is the most important item for the Razor a5 lux. For our Hong Kong roads (the center is often tiled with spots or whole blocks, there is little good smooth asphalt, there are many curbs and pits), I would not recommend this model.

Pros
  • 1. On good fine-grained asphalt, the roll is excellent, it literally flies. 2. Weight, very light. 3. Can be used to transport children (in a standing position) and bags of groceries, the movement is faster and easier, without stress on the hands and nervous system:)
Cons
  • 1. VERY rattles on surfaces other than fine-grained asphalt. Just very. Sometimes this is a plus, passers-by turn around or come off their phones and watch where they are going. But if you ride for more than half an hour, you want it to be quieter. 2. Reads all the bumps and the quality of the road surface. Paving stones, tiles, cracks, asphalt with medium and large grains - everything will give into your hands and if you ride for more than 30 minutes, then the vibration can be felt long after the ride. I rode yesterday, and my hands are buzzing a little this morning. 3. The deck rotates 360 degrees around the handlebar. You should always keep an eye on it, both folded and unfolded. Since the deck is made of metal, it can hit the ankle very hard, even when you lift the scooter to carry it over a curb or rough road. When folded, it is normal to carry it in a horizontal position so that the deck hangs parallel to the ground, then it does not hang out and does not hit you :) 4. My scooter has a very poorly designed folding mechanism. When I was just picking up the scooter from the point of issue, I watched the video for 5 minutes how people laid it out, because mine didn’t want to go anywhere, the pin just didn’t move to the side and that’s it. It took some effort to unfold it. Now it folds up easier, but decomposing everything is the same problem. Quickly fold the scooter in 3 seconds and jump into the approaching transport - this is still not my option). 5. After the rain, either go on foot, or prepare for the fact that the leg at least up to the knee will be dirty.
