This Ezcap capture card is a pretty decent budget capture card. My main goal with this capture card was to use it to play old console games with the capture software on my PC and I had tried this before with another capture device which had terrible lag but that didn't apply to this device . The latency with this device isn't ideal, but it's definitely workable, there's some noticeable lag and I wouldn't recommend using it for frame-rate gaming. Pass-through is only 1080p 30fps, which is a bit disappointing, but most older games ran at 30fps, so it's not a big deal. In terms of recording quality, it can be significantly higher at 4k and does it quite well. All in all, if you're looking for a capture card to tinker with in your spare time then this is a great option, but if you're more serious about using it for streaming or content creation I'd suggest spending it a little more and get one of the many different models from elgato as they will be much better overall.
