I did a whole lot of searching around online and reading a bunch of reviews for a road bike seat to replace the original on my somewhat older model 10 speed bike which is in great shape! I finally settled on a seat which I can't name in this review but it was in the $18 price range. Anyway I ended up returing it because the saddle padding was thin and the seat was too skinny making for a very uncomfortable ride. Don't get me wrong I understand that road bike saddles aren't supposed to be pillow soft seats however I still wanted something that was more comfortable, looked good and would allow me to ride a long distance without aches, pains and soreness. So I went back online did some more research and decided on this Bikeroo saddle.well I got it right this time. The padding is just right, the seat is not too skinny but it's also not one of those goofy looking fat seats that would make your road bike look goofy! Yes at $30 it cost more than the $18 seat I returned but in the long run paying $12 more dollars for a comfortable and good looking bike saddle is worth every penny. And how about this for customer service.to my surprise a day after I got the bike saddle I received an e-mail with 3 short Bikeroo video clips on how to install the seat, the proper height, and the proper angle, you've got to admit that's a pretty cool touch! The package contains several install tools and the saddle can fit on standard post OR bikes with those clam shell type seat holders like my 10 speed. What I'm saying in this long winded review is that I give this Bikeroo Saddle a solid 4 1/2 Stars. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I just got it and need to find out how long it will last under normal use. If I get 3 to 4 years of use I believe that a 5 star rating would be fair. The bottom line is I think you'll like this seat for the comfort, for the looks and the price is decent.
