The lid got stuck and the pressure ripped the lid off
I followed the directions and preheated the thermos before adding the hot soup. I couldn't open it after a few hours at noon and left it on. my counter for someone who tries harder the next day. When I got to work the next day, I felt the pressure had increased too much. The lid cracked and fell off, I had soup on the ceiling. Was thrown in the trash a week after receiving it.
