Don't be fooled by the pictures on the web as they fooled me. It's relatively small compared to most, less than half my other players or gear, and fairly light. No frills. It doesn't even have a clock on the front display. The display also does not show the elapsed time of the movie. (It does, however, have a menu where you can access things on the screen, such as the running time elapsed while watching a movie.) What it's supposed to do, it does well. The smart features also work well and are easy to use. I usually rent Redbox for my movies, but once I've recorded a 3D movie from one of the apps, it worked pretty well. The remote control is also small and sometimes I have to look closely to understand what I'm doing. Of course, in order to stream a movie from the app, you need an internet service (with a downstream speed of at least 9 Mbit/s). No frills - there is only one output, and then only for HDMI. Again, the only input or output ports are an HDMI for output on the back. However, there is a USB port on the front. Important: There is no wired port to connect to a modem or router - only Wi-Fi.
