Not the easiest setup for wireless use. The software was fine. The single-sided scans and the front of the double-sided supports were always slightly crooked (perhaps the sensor was never properly aligned). Once you got past the fiddly Wi-Fi setup and scanner that sometimes captures multiple pages at once, everything worked fine for a while. Then, about 3 years after purchase, a large vertical black stripe (running from top to bottom of the page) appears on the right side of the page with every one-page scan, maybe 1/2-1 inch wide. and on the first page of each two-page scan. From what I've read, this issue is not uncommon with this Epson scanner and possibly other Espon scanners. Will definitely not buy again. --------------- Update: September 10, 2020 I called the customer support number provided by an Epson representative below. Note to Epson and its representatives: A fake support number does not inspire confidence, nor is it a good way to start a dialogue with a customer.) After I was moved to the Scanners group, I contacted someone who all mine personal data (name, address, e-mail, telephone number, etc.) and all information about it required the scanner. So the call lasted 20 minutes, I was told it was a "hardware failure" and out of warranty so they couldn't help me. All they could do was provide contact information for service centers or offer me small discounts on new or refurbished Epson products. (Yes, your product broke, so I'm going to run away and give you more money for another product that will probably break too!) My choice was to spend the money to try to fix the broken product, or this spend money on other Epson. Items that can break. I look at this bad product support. This particular scanner appears to have a design flaw or to suffer from a premature failure of a specific part. If Epson really cared about its customers and supported its products, it would definitely offer longer warranties and take action when faced with frequent reports like this one of suspected design flaws or inferior parts in its products. I would definitely not buy it again and will generally keep my hands off Epson products in the future.
