Review on Soft-Tip Infant Spoons - 12 πŸ₯„ Piece Munchkin Set for Optimal Feeding Experience by John Bourgeois

Not soft, light

I use it for a 4 month old baby; Maybe they are better for older children. I thought they were soft, like silicone or rubber tips. You are not. They are made of hard plastic and you can feel the stitching or something on the sides of the spoon. For my very young child I found the spoon is too deep and she cannot empty the full depth of the spoon by moving her upper lip over it. Given that we're dealing with a very small amount on the spoon to begin with - I don't fill the entire spoon - it's pretty silly that it's not just smaller to start with. The spoons are also badly weighted in terms of weight. Grip length and tipping point. If you are using a small plate to eat, you cannot place it on or in the plate spoon-side down because the weight of the handle will pull the spoon back and your spoon will then be on the floor. Not cool. The ledge on the bottom of the spoon CAN be used to lean the spoon against the plate, but it's not as quick or easy as simply placing the spoon in or over the plate (which balances). This is a bummer that doesn't work as I've found that I have to put the spoon down multiple times for each feeding and don't want to just put it on the table to form a sticky spot.

Pros
  • Children's item
Cons
