I installed this camera to monitor my front door but also wanted to be able to keep an eye on my garden when the dogs go outside so I needed a panoramic camera. I mounted it on a roof beam for a good view, so the solar panel is a great addition to avoid having to remove the camera to charge. It's been about a week and the battery is still at 100% so the panel is working as it should! This was my first solar panel setup so I was a little intimidated, but it turned out to be a lot easier to set up than I expected. The quality of the camera is excellent, both day and night. I have other cameras that use the CloudEdge app so setup was quick and easy. The mounting screws were too long to easily hit the joist so I used shorter ones so I didn't have to wait for help with a drill and I was able to install it myself and I'm sure it won't go anywhere. The only downside to this camera is that it cannot be viewed or controlled outside of the CloudEdge app. This is not a problem for me as I use an SD card. So if I need to save footage, I can do it by recording through the app. Cloud storage is also available. The app does everything I need, I found the camera pans while touching the live stream which is great. Overall I'm very happy with this camera, it's much more than I expected for the price range.
