Cable could be much longer. I need to replace the red battery connector with a larger connector and buy more wires to make it longer. I did the same for black areas - I changed the connectors to larger ones. It didn't solve my flickering and fading light issue when I first installed it. I finally found out that I also had to buy the lifting of the warnings. First I installed the compensator AFTER this relay. The problem is that the relay is very noisy and will probably fail within a few days. I had to install the compensator BEFORE this relay, which I did. The relay chatter is gone and my HID fog lights are PERFECT. I hope this continues for some time. In short, for the BMW HID conversion I had to 1) delete the warning from the car link, 2) this relay, 3) the balister setting, then 4) the HID bulb. There are many things, but everything works fine. I also had to program the car to turn off the cold and warm fog light check.
