I think this is an amazing shade for the price. Looks very good. I needed a new shade for a lamp I bought from Pier One 20 years ago. Looking at lampshades and prices, I found that the lampshades cost as much or more than the lamp I bought 20 years ago. This shade is exactly the same color and shape as the original shade and is so affordable! I found that I hadn't assembled the rim correctly, I had to disassemble it and one of the protrusions broke inside the ring. I tried to remove it but couldn't. I used Gorilla Glue. Looks good and has held up well. I'm the only one who knows it's glued. The small tab that comes with it is what I think should be used on the bottom ring. I put it there anyway. I'm really satisfied, except that the tongue broke off. WOULD BUY IT AGAIN IF I NEED ANOTHER.
