I have installed two of these on my motorhome - one above the downward facing side door and one connected below the bumper as a reversing light. The one above the side door makes a great "porch light". From a height of about 2.70 m, directed almost vertically downwards, it illuminates an area of about 3.50 mx 3.00 m; moreover, it turns off very quickly, which helps not to annoy other vacationers. This is a good flood beam with no strong "hot spots". It's very bright, I even recommend placing it so you don't look directly at the light as that can be painful. As a reverse light, it's almost *too* bright; This tends to blur my rear camera's image a bit. I'm impressed with the construction - they have a heavy metal body, not plastic - and so far none of them have had condensation inside. It's easy to direct light exactly where it's needed, and sharp clipping means you don't waste light where there isn't. Excellent value for money and quality. I *wouldn't* install them as high beams unless you plan on using them strictly off-road. The light is intense and the glare for oncoming drivers would be unacceptable on the road.
