Much better quality than the knee pillow As you see it on TV! This pillow has deep ridges on both sides (pillow is 6" thick at the edges and up to 3" thick in the middle) so you can hold it securely between your knees without slipping. It also has a detachable strap that you can put on one foot to keep it in place even if you move around at night (the strap is attached with soft Velcro and can be removed entirely if you're like a stone sleep). You can adjust the position between your knees, calves or thighs depending on where you need it. The 3 inch center is thick and felt odd at first, but I noticed that it aligns my hip and leg and was very comfortable. OTHER NOTES: There are minimal instructions for use, it just says to air it out if there is an initial odor (there was no odor) and then some brief washing instructions (it says 'machine or hand wash' and 'line dry' ). ) . The inner pad is wrapped in a fitted "sock" which is not removable but protects the inner foam pad from rubbing when the cover is removed. The cover is specially shaped for the pillow and fits snugly; It took about 10 seconds to remove the wash cover and about 35 seconds to squeeze it back together. The cover feels solidly sewn and didn't seem to mind as long as I manually pushed the pillow back in. Overall a great product and good value for money. highlighted.
