How lucky I was to get this knife! But the boy was disappointed. This knife right out of the box was GARBAGE. It was boring how everyone came out. I'll probably have to buy a pencil sharpener to get this thing right. I should already have a sharpener, but I don't need to sharpen my knife because I've never used it straight out of the box. The only reason I bought this knife was because I had a good, sharp carving knife in addition to the ones in the knife block in the kitchen. Oh god I was thrilled to kick that bad boy out as I smoked a brisket and my family gathered around the cutting board and watched. And oh my god how embarrassed I was trying to cut this thing with this knife, dammit I gave up and went to my 6 inch chef's knife.
