Sharpened, meat cuts normally, the handle is comfortable. One might think that whoever cleaned the assembled knife was trying to remove the burrs from the spine to make the knife look cleaner and nicer. This is a $10 knife at best.

Very impressed with the quality and price of this carving knife. I was looking for a cutting knife but didn't want to pay more than 50€. The knife lies perfectly in the hand. Used this Thanksgiving to carve three turkeys. I was able to make very thin slices and everyone thought the presentation looked great. I look forward to using this for beef brisket.

This knife is really very useful for home use. The knife looks good and appears to be well made. It's very sharp right out of the box. It looks a lot more expensive than it actually is and comes in a nice knife storage box. I used it to cut homemade bacon the other day and it cuts straight and sharp enough to make thin slices. I can't wait to cut the rib roast with him. I would recommend this knife.

I'm generally a knife snob and have 5 Global knives as my main set. I didn't want to spend a lot on a slicer because a) I wouldn't use it much and b) it's not a very technical knife. I just needed a decent metal, long and straight. The Granton perk should have been a nice bonus. In short, I wasn't expecting much, but damn it. My blade had both a crease and a crease which was visible upon initial inspection. I still expect a straight blade even in the lower price segment.

I am very surprised at how satisfied I am with the Mairico Ultra Sharp knife. Given the low price, I never expected to get such a good deal. First let me say the packaging is AWESOME.
