i ordered king size in white and they are bright white and go well with my king pillows. The main reason I ordered them was to have a cooler pillowcase. I have two other cases that I use regularly that are made of different fabrics and neither stay cool enough. This one seems to deliver. I wouldn't say it's "cool" all the time, but it doesn't get hot like the others. It's quite soft and feels premium and a little shinier than my regular cotton case (but not as shiny as the satin case). My husband called them "indistinguishable" but they are my favorites so YMMV.
