As a child I NEVER waxed or plucked my eyebrows. I've always had threads. I also sometimes do upper lip carving instead of wax as it's a bit cheaper and gives better results in my opinion. Threading is easy once you know how to work with threads and how to properly shape your eyebrows. I bought a threading kit that has a pair of handles to help you manage the thread, although you don't need it. Also, it's always easier when you can ask someone else to fill you rather than yourself, although it can be done. (There are many Youtube videos showing you how to do this.) You can thread anywhere on your body, although it's most commonly used on the eyebrows, upper lip, and sometimes other areas of the face. Let's get back to the product. There are 10 spools of thread in a box. Even if you flash every week, this will last a long time. The thread is VERY strong. When threading eyebrows or any other part of my face, I've only had to change the floss once or twice during the entire time I've been threading it myself due to thread breakage during threading. (It's normal for the thread to break like that.) Comparatively, when I go to the salon, they easily have to change the thread 3-5 times while I'm doing my eyebrows. The thread is not so thick or thin that it does not collect hair. On the contrary, it easily sticks to the hair. Just try not to put any moisturizer on your face before you floss and remove the lip balm from your lips. If you have moisturizer on your face, apply some baby powder or talcum powder to the area you are combing to help lift the hair. Redness may appear after using this thread, which is normal in the world of threads. Just use regular lotion or some aloe vera if you have on hand. I have VERY sensitive skin and redness usually goes away within 2-4 hours. (Also, I have an average complexion, so if you have fair skin, I recommend flossing at least a day before any event you attend until you know how your skin reacts to flossing.) Anyone, if you try yarn first Time these threads are good quality and I highly recommend them. Any self threader/professional threader will not be disappointed with this thread whether you use it for personal use or in a salon/beauty salon. In addition, you will definitely get your money's worth in terms of quantity and quality.
