I bought a three back of these lights for our closets and staircase. First of all, there are no batteries, but that's expected at this price point. Second, two of the lights function perfectly. The third will go on and off and repeat up to three times before finally shutting off after something crosses the sensors. I'm chalking it up to bad wiring in the unit. We placed that one on the staircase at knee level so that it doesn't go off in anyone's closet and wake them up.The daylight sensor feature works great. We installed one each in our closets above the door opening. That way, it does not blind us, illuminates the closet well, and the motion sensor detects when we are reaching for our hanging clothes.
