Trust the shape reviews! I was horrified to discover what, besides toothpaste, I had used to brush my daughter's teeth. It was black mold. I didn't even see it until one day I tapped it on the edge of the sink and black flakes fell out. This toothbrush was kept in the same place as the family's other toothbrushes and the rest is fine. I hope this review will allow many children to avoid this brush and many parents not to feel guilty knowing that you are brushing your teeth or allowing your child to brush with a moldy toothbrush. My daughter got sick a month after we started using this toothbrush and stayed sick. until a few days after we stopped using it after 2 months. It may be a coincidence, but I feel terribly guilty. Also, don't convince yourself that you're just keeping it clean or taking care of it. The shape starts under the top moving head and you can't even see it. I hope the photos do it justice.
